Kolkata: As a part of adding more passenger-friendly amenities at different Metro stations, Health Check-up Kiosks are on the way of being installed in a number of Metro station premises under the inspiration of General Manager, Metro Railway, Shri Arun Arora.
As a part of the endeavour, a Pulse Health Check-up kiosk was commissioned on Wednesday (June 22, 2022) at the Park Street Metro station. Shri Shuvasish Bhattacharya, Dy.COM (O & M) inaugurated the kiosk and dedicated it for the commuters. Beneficiaries will be able to check 21 health parameters here at a nominal fee. Four such Health Kiosks have already been installed at esplanade, Park Street, Kalighat and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar Metro stations.
These Health kiosks will help the passengers to check certain important health parameters like height, weight, blood pressure, pulse score, pulse rate, saturated oxygen in blood (spo2), blood sugar, basal metabolic rate (BMR), protein mass, skeletal muscle mass, fat mass, fat, body mineral mass and bone mineral mass instantly. Health reports will be handed over to them immediately after the tests.
