The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by cultural performances in true spirit of patriotism, a day to remember our freedom fighters and to keep our heads high as Indians. A glorious year for the group, TIG supported Yeh Mera India, an NGO and took part in the run for a cause where nearly 50 people from the group participated to ensure that together people can cross every milestone. Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury is also happy to promote St. John KG School and support 250 students in every possible way. Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury states that the 21st century should be remembered as the century when humanity put aside differences and collaborated to save the planet. Freedom is never given, it is achieved. “May we celebrate 15th August of every year to pay respect to the culmination of struggle, hardships, and sacrifices made by Indians to bring this country freedom. Let us celebrate this day with pride and let the freedom ring from every corner of our country,” she signed off.
