Kolkata : Himalaya BabyCare, one of India’s most trusted baby care brands, loved by babies, has launched a heartfelt DVC this Mother’s Day, celebrating the always evolving journey of motherhood. The campaign highlights this journey through a series of a baby’s ‘firsts’and the warm emotions they bring forward.
At its core is the thought that while these milestones celebrate a baby’s growth, these moments are just as important and emotional for the mother. In today’s evolving journey of parenthood, many such moments pass quietly, often going unacknowledged. With this DVC, Himalaya BabyCare centers the narrative on the mother’s experience – celebrating the instinctive bond that deepens with every ‘first’.
Inspired by the timeless lullaby “Chanda Hai Tu”, the film unfolds as a reflective narrative that traces the emotional journey of motherhood through the baby’s first milestones, evoking a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and cultural familiarity. The film opens with a flashback, showing a mother getting her little girl ready for the very first day of school. It’s a big milestone, and one that feels just as emotional for the mom as it does for the child.
Watching her daughter stand there in the uniform triggers a wave of memories. One by one, the past years unfold, reminding the mother of all those quiet, everyday moments they shared. From the first gentle massages and splashy bath times to playing on the floor and simple moments of care—these weren’t just routines, but the little moments that wove their bond together.
As the film returns to the present day, the little girl stops to give her mom one, tight hug before heading out for school. It is a beautiful reminder that while every "first" marks a step forward in a child’s life, it also marks a new chapter for a mother – one of pride, change, and growing with her child. The DVC captures the essence of the “Mumma waali feeling” an instinctive, deeply personal emotion that evolves and strengthens with every milestone in a child’s life.
Commenting on the campaign, Chakravarthi N. V., Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “At Himalaya BabyCare, we believe motherhood is shaped by a series of ‘firsts’—fleeting yet deeply meaningful moments that leave a lasting emotional imprint. Through this campaign, we celebrate these everyday experiences that define a mother’s journey. The ‘Mumma waali feeling’, grows with every touch, every milestone, and every memory created along the way. Beyond being just a provider of gentle, safe, and trusted products, we are committed to offering guidance, resources, and support to mothers, helping them navigate this journey with confidence and peace of mind.”
By blending nostalgia, music, and emotionally resonant storytelling, Himalaya BabyCare continues to build a deeper cultural connection with modern parents.
Vishwanath Shetty, D2C Head at Pocket Aces said, "At FilterCopy, we believe the strongest brand stories are those that feel real and authentic. Being part of the same ecosystem as Saregama gives us a unique advantage, allowing us to blend storytelling with iconic music that already carries deep cultural and emotional resonance. Through the warmth and familiarity of 'Chanda Hain Tu', we wanted to capture the small yet unforgettable moments of motherhood, making Himalaya BabyCare's message feel personal and relatable. To deepen our connection with audiences on our youth Tamil channel FilterCopy Enga Area, we also created a Tamil rendition of the track with some of the best in the industry, including Karthik Raja, Padhmalatha, and Ku. Karthik, bringing a fresh yet nostalgic emotional dimension to the narrative."
Building on this narrative, the Mother’s Day campaign moves beyond functional communication to celebrate the emotional realities of motherhood—where every small moment matters, and every ‘first’ becomes a memory of a lifetime.
The campaign will be amplified across social and digital platforms, with adaptations in multiple regional languages to drive wider reach and stronger connect.
