Kolkata: All Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) under the Regional Passport Office, Kolkata including PSK Kolkata, PSK Berhampore, PSK Siliguri, PSK Gangtok and PSK Agartala and POPSKS will be remain open on Saturday, December 17, 2022. The applicants can book new appointments or reschedule their already booked appointments to December 17, 2022 under both the Normal (PSKS and POPSKs) and Tatkaal PSKs) categories. Appointments will be released at the five PSKs and 42 POPSKs.
Those who need fresh appointments should first submit the form online at https://www.passportindiaeov.in and make the payment online. After that, the applicant should log in again to the https://www.passportindia.Nov.in website to verify the payment and schedule the appointment. Once done, the appointment confirmation can be seen in the portal
It is to be noted that
applicants, who have already booked appointments, will be able to reschedule their appointments only once and if such applicants do not show up for the appointment, they will not be given any further opportunity to reschedule their appointments again. Such applicants are liable to forfeit their application and the fees.
Process for obtaining a passport under the Tatkaal Scheme:
Under the Tatkaal scheme, applicants over the age of 18 years have to submit any 3 documents listed at httos://passportindia.gov.in/AnoOn1ineProject/popupoaline/AttachmentAdvisorSub?subDocl D=7003&minorFlae=1. Those below the age of 18 years have to submit any 2 documents listed at https://www.passpomndia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/nopupon1ine/AttachmentAdvisorSub?su bDocID=7003&minorFIae=5.

It is urged to ensure that the details mentioned such as complete name, Date of Birth, father’s name, etc) are should be same in all the documents. Small cut-out Aadhar cards/smart cards printed by non-UlDA1 entities will not be accepted.
