Kolkata : From 2004, Kingston Law College under Kingston Educational Institute has been on the move with its efforts and has steadily improved since then. Kingston Law College held its 1st Convocation Ceremony on Friday 27th May, 2022. This convocation celebrated students’ accomplishments, reunion of learning and the starting point of new journey.
The respected and honorable guests that of the evening of Convocation were Mr. Saugata Roy (MP), Mr. Ashok Kumar Deb (MLA, Chairperson West Bengal Bar Council.), Prof. Dr. Mahua Das (VC WBSU), Prof. Dr. J.K. Das (Dean Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta), Mr. Pinaki Ranjan Banerjee (Assistant Secretary West Bengal Bar Council) Prof. Dr. Shambhu Prasad Chakraborty (Head and Research Fellow, NUJS), Mr. Rafiqur Rahaman (MLA), Adv. Rabindranath Bhattacharyya (Member West Bengal Bar Council., Counsellor of North Barrackpore Municipality). They enlightened us with the presence.
Beside that the top management of Kingston Educational Institute namely Mrs. Uma Bhattacharya (Secretary, Kingston Educational Institute), Mr. Tipam Bhattacharya (President, Kingston Educational Institute), Dr. Manishankar Chakraborty (Academic Advisor, Kingston Educational Institute), Dr. Suman Gupta Sarma (Principal, Kingston Law College) and all the faculties and staff members of Kingston Law College were also present.
Students who have successfully completed their degrees from 2013 to 2019 were felicitated through certifications on the ceremony. Around 545 students were provided with the certificates. Kingston Law College believes that alumni, who were present at the auspicious event and who got felicitated will find interest to provide legal assistance to the society and to give support to the free legal aid of Kingston Law College.
Further, this convocation definitely offered enthusiasm to the students, so that they can take up higher studies and make Kingston Law College proud. This convocation aimed at motivating the future generation of budding lawyers, and Kingston Educational Institute was successful to do so through the ceremony.
