Kolkata : Prosenjit Chatterjee & Aryann Bhowmick are back as the mystery buster duo Kakababu and Santu in the third installment of the Kakababu franchise with ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’. This time, the adventure will grapple not just Bengali audiences as it is slated for a national release. The Hindi trailer & poster of ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ has been released today and is now up on SVF’s social media platforms. Both the Bengali & Hindi versions will hit the big screens nationwide on 4th February 2022.   


 This time the thrilling adventures of Kakababu and Santu takes place in the exotic jungles of Africa. Based on Sunil Gangopadhyay’s ‘Jongoler Modhye Ek Hotel’, ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ is directed by none other than Srijit Mukherji and stars the very popular Kakababu-Santu pair of Prosenjit Chatterjee and Aryann Bhowmick along with the versatile Anirban Chakrabarti in the lead.     

 The Hindi release will bring the gripping adventure of Kakababu and Santu in the wilderness of the Masai Mara jungles of Africa to the national audience. The extraordinary story of the mystery behind disappearing tourists in the greenlands of Africa will be brought closer to audience across the country with Kakababur Protyaborton’s national release.   

 The exhilarated National Award-winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji on his film’s national release said, “We are all ready to bring Kakababu’s newest adventure to a much wider audience by releasing it in Hindi on 4th February, on the same day along with the Bengali release. I believe that the grandeur of Kakababur Protyaborton’ will captivate both regional and national audiences alike. People outside Bengal are aware of Feluda and Byomkesh Bakshy but now I am excited to bring another iconic detective figure to the national audience.”
