Sunda became Fun-day as about 500 Kushwahas gathered for a socio-cultural meet and picnic at Manobitan, Joka. Organized by Kolkata Kushwaha Kalyan Sangha and supported by Tollygunj Kushwaha Samaj, everyone enjoyed a lot. Apart from sumptuous food, there were songs by Malobika Mukherjee, sports activities, fun-games, musical chair, etc. conducted by anchors Devsmita Dutta and Annu Gupta (members of 'Hello Kolkata Ladies CLUB').
National President of Akhil Bharatiya Kushwaha Mahasabha, Sri J.P. Verma, Sanjay Shan (National Training In-Charge) and all office-bearers of Kolkata Kushwaha Kalyan Sangha launched 'Samyak Samvad' - 1st magazine for the organization. Dr. Arun Kumar anchored the solemn function.
It was attended by several significant and esteemed members of Kushwaha Samaj, including other state guests Dr. Birendra Nath Maurya, Baby Kushwaha, Pappu Kushwaha, Mr. Nawal Kishore Singh, from other districts of W.B. like Nagendra Singh Maurya, Subhash Choudhury, Kapildeo Mahto, Ram Pravesh Mahto, Nirmal Singh, Rupnarayan Kushwaha, R.K.Singh, Sachitanand Singh, local officials like Nand Lal Kushwaha, Uday Narayan Singh, Binda Lal Singh, Dr. Arun Kumar Raj, Umesh Singh, A.K.Bhagat, Chandrakant Singh, Ashok Kumar Singh, Uday Kumar Singh,, Ramashankar Singh, Jay Prakash Verma, Harsh Narayan Prasad, Kailash Prasad, Kanhaiya Prasad, Rajesh Kumar Maurya and others.
