Kolkata: Malayalam feature film Swalih, produced by Shaju Valappan and directed by Siddik Paravoor, has been selected for the Durgapur International Film Festival 2026, marking an important milestone in the film's festival journey.
The film, described as a humanistic and socially conscious drama, explores themes of compassion, dignity, faith and the complex realities of contemporary life. Through its characters and emotionally driven narrative, Swalih seeks to highlight shared human values while reflecting the social realities of the modern world.
