Kolkata — The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) proudly announced the
opening of its much-awaited IIHM Institute of Pastry and Culinary (IIPC) in the
heart of Salt Lake, Kolkata. This premiere Bakery and Pastry Centre of
Excellence promises to redefine the art of baking and elevate pastry
craftsmanship to new heights.
The IIPC Kolkata, situated within
the IIHM Global Campus, is set to become the epicentre for aspiring pastry
chefs, bakers, and culinary enthusiasts. This exciting venture has launched
with 2 career driven programs. The Advanced Diploma in Bakery and Pastry Arts,
which is a 1-year course, includes an internship for extensive industry
exposure in some of the most renowned Bakery Outlets in India. The 10 Weekend
Professional Pastry Programme, as the name suggests is spread over 10
Saturdays, aiming to bring the Bakery enthusiasts together and build up their
interests and expertise in the art of Bakery, without disrupting their week.
The Highlight of this launch is
the accreditation of IIPC from the Craft Guild of Chefs, UK. The Crafts Guild
of Chefs is a prestigious body known for setting industry standards and
promoting excellence in culinary arts. This difficult accreditation underscores
IIPC’s commitment to quality education and skill development. It also
recognizes the expertise of the team that has worked hard to bring IIPC to the
city of Joy and make it an integral part of the culinary map of Kolkata.
