National : To celebrate Iconic week from June 06, 2022 to June 12, 2022 under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, a Credit Outreach Programme was organised by Lead Bank of the District, Indian Bank, North 24 Parganas (W.B.) today on June 8, 2022 at Ravindra Bhawan Auditorium, Barasat.
The Lead District Manager (LDM) North 24 Parganas, Shri Salan Bage told that the Credit outreach programme has been conducted jointly by all leading nationalised banks functioning in the District where distribution of sanction letters and cheques to beneficiaries of different credit schemes done.
Banks have distributed the sanction letters among two beneficiaries of West Bengal Student Credit cards, 123 Self Help groups (SHGs) under NRLM, 85 Mudra loan, 40 MSME loans, 46 retail loans including housing loans. The total amount Rs. 31.40 crore sanctioned in the credit outreach camp out of that Indian Bank has sanctioned Rs. 23.03 crore to 211 loan beneficiaries. Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank, UCO Bank, State Bank of India, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India and BGVB (RRB) took part in the camp. The lead District Manager Sri Salan Bage coordinated the programme.
General Manager SLBC, Shri Shio Shankar Singh; Zonal Manager Indian bank Barasat Shri Rajeev Kumar Roy; Project Director DRDc, North 24 Parganas Shri Saurav Sengupta, General Manager DIC North 24 Parganas Shri Sumit Chaterjee, Dy. Director Agriculture, North 24 Parganas and Shri Narayan Sikdarand among other dignitaries from various Banks were present on the occasion.
