Kolkata Metro’s Smart card validity will be extended

KolkataFor the convenience of the  commutersthe  metro smart card whose validity have expired on or after 15th may to 15 July will be treated as a valid till 16th August. Commuters need to contact on duty booking officials at any station to validate their smart cards. Passengers are required to recharge their revalidated cards on or before 16th August to get benefit for travel for one year along with the balance amount left behind to be carried forward.  Balance amount of the smart cards whose validity have already expired before  15th May  or will expire after 15th July will be forfeited.

From 16th July from Monday to Friday 192 up and down metro service will run. Out of these 192 services,  133 trains will run between Kavi Shubhash and Dakshineswar metro stations . The first service from  Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhas , from Dumdum to Dakshineswar , from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar and  from dumdum to Kavi Subhash will start at 8 a.m. The last service from Dakshineswar to Kavi subhash will start at 7:45 p.m.  From Dumdum to Kavi Subhas the last service will start at 8:00 p.m. and from Kavi Subhash to Dakkhineswar,  the last train will start at 8 p.m.
