VLCC to bear Covid-19 Vaccination cost of employees and families across 14 countries

Leading Wellness & Beauty services and products brand, VLCC,will cover the cost of Covid-19 vaccination for all its over 4,000 employees in India and 13 other countries where it has direct company-managed operations.As part of the initiative, the company will also cover the dependents of its employees who are enrolled on the company’s medical benefits programme and are eligible to receive the vaccination as per government guidelines.

 

Staff in its UAE operations, where it manages 12 Wellness & Beauty clinics, have already been inoculated. For India, the organisation has also been in touch with the Union Ministry of Health for categorisation of staff operating its over 200 Wellness & Beauty Clinics in over 100 citiesas health-care workers, according to the company. This will give them priority in line with other front-line workers, as these clinics are delivering services related to immunity building solutions as well as specific chronic disease related wellness management programmes, which in today’s need to further control the Covid-19 contagion and ensure post-contagion recovery are especially relevant.

 


VLCC is the only organisation whose wellness programmes carry the Recommended by Indian Medical Association stamp of approval and of its over 4,000 employees globally, a majority are experienced healthcare professionals. Each of its clinics is staffed by medical doctors, nutritionists and physiotherapists, who manage, supervise and execute the service delivery protocols.
