Duck Festival starts at Chowman

Chowman, Kolkata’s favorite neighborhood fine dining restaurant chain for authentic Chinese cuisine kick started the Oriental Duck festival today. The 22 day long festival will continue till 13^th January ’19 and will offer the most exotic and scrumptious duck delicacies in various preparations to add flavor to the festive season.

Present on the occasion was Mr. Debaditya Chaudhury, Managing Director, Chowman Chain of Restaurants and founder member of the renowned Bangla rock band- Lakkhichhara.

One of the best things that identify a restaurant is the variety of food and the flavours which it serves consistently. When there is an overabundance of delectable items, the restaurant achieves a cult status that surpasses expectations and Chowman with all the innovativeness is already satisfying the desires of the connoisseurs of good food.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Mr. Debaditya Chaudhury said, “Duck meat is one of the staples in China. Also, duck meat is a Christmas season favourite. People associate the season with duck and turkey meat. Therefore we thought of coming up with this festival at this time of the year. We have ensured to source the best quality ducks for this festival. The spread during this festival will have various dishes in different flavours to suit everyone’s taste buds”.

The festival will continue till 13^th January ’19 and a meal for two will cost Rs 1000/- plus taxes.
