 Future Generali India Insurance join hands with Bhumi for “Joy to the world” projectFuture Generali India Insurance Company Limited (FGII), the general insurance arm of the joint venture between retail game changers Future Group and global insurer Generali has associated with NGO Bhumi to spread happiness and joy through fulfilling wishes of lesser previliged chidren. For any household in Kolkata, Durga Puja is one of the most significant festivals.While most of us are privileged to celebrate the festival with a lot of joy and vigour, there is a section of society that is not privileged enough to enjoy the same. FGII decided to reach out to the lesser privileged children at Loreto Rainbow Homes in Kolkata and fulfill their wishes. Employees from FGII visited the shelter home and distributed new gifts to children. K.G Krishnamoorthy Rao, MD and CEO said, “At FGII, volunteer service is one of the many ways we shows our commitment to the communities where our customers and associates live and work. Our employees too share the view that our success as a company is interrelated to the progress we facilitate in the community”. In addition to the volunteering at Loreto Rainbow Homes, the employees are also simultaneously engaging in an Employee Giving Activity where employees will be donating new/used items such as clothes, towels, bed sheets, blankets, kid’s toys, new toiletries and books to two different NGOs to help the poor families on streets.
